About the event
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Kiwanis Club of LBNY is proud to host a
brunch in honor of the following outstanding women within our community.
Helen Dorado Alessi
Executive Director of the LB Latino Civic Association who champions the empowerment of the Latino population.
Abbie Golding
Board Member of LB Arts Council supporting the Arts in Long Beach.
Johanna Sofield
Founder and President of the LB Christmas Angel.
We ask that people provide new or slightly used purses to be donated to Bethany House which provides supportive housing for women and their children. These purses can be filled with toiletries and cosmetics.
